I Slept and Dreamt Life Is Beauty is a collection of fragments from a large-scale artwork by Sarah and Nathan created for the "Watering the Desert | Contemporary Art from Qatar" exhibition at the Yuz Museum in Shanghai in 2023. The project was chaotic and beautiful—hundreds of layers, countless versions, and loads of back-and-forth to produce a large-scale mural for the exhibition.
