Nathan Ross Davis
An associate professor at VCUarts Qatar, Nathan is a design educator, researcher, and maker based in Doha Qatar. He started W/W/W in 2015 as a non-client-based visual research lab that privileges graphic speculation and visual experimentation.

Sarah Elawad
Sarah lives and works in Brooklyn. She is a regular contributor and creative consultant on many W/W/W projects. She can often be found holding down the table at book fairs and exhibiting her own creative work at various venues in and around the NYC area with her pals.

Hagar Allam
Design Collaborator / 2024
Hagar experiments with diverse print mediums and is currently developing her airbrush techniques. Hagar dedicates herself to exploring personal themes such as motherhood, drawing inspiration from her own cultural experiences and narratives. We are excited to add her voice to our projects this year, with a focus on apparel design and production.
Hagar graduated from VCUarts Qatar’s Graphic Design Program and currently works in the university's digital print studio.

Amira Mohamed
Social Media Design and Production / 2024
Amira Mohamed is an interior designer who finds beauty and inspiration in unexpected places. For her, interior design is more than aesthetics—it’s a form of self-expression that transforms spaces and fosters meaningful connections. Her creative process begins with sketching, embraces trial and error, and allows designs to evolve naturally. Amira strives to create personalized, immersive environments that inspire creativity and a sense of belonging.
Amira holds a BFA in interior design from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar and currently works as a junior interior designer at Design House Interiors.
Samah Sulyman
Design and Production Assistant / 2022-Present
Samah is a fashion design major who has worked for Water With Water for the past two years. She started as a volunteer in the studio as a freshman. Samah has been a key part of many projects, including production for the Sonic Jeel hoodies and W/W/W branded t-shirts. Samah manages much of the behind-the-scenes work as a production assistant and studio assistant. Her journey exemplifies dedication and passion in learning and developing her working ethics and skills.

Maha Nasr
Social Media Design Fellowship / 2021
Maha Nasr is a Palestinian Interdisciplinary Designer, who has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Commonwealth University School of Arts in Qatar. She was born and raised in Qatar. She is a process-oriented designer that thinks in a non-linear way to address multi-disciplinary designs.
Lauren Morrel
Apparel and Fashion Design Fellow / 2020
Lauren Morell is a Fashion Designer based in Doha, Qatar, passionate about textiles, and a third-culture kid exploring her nomadic journey. She has been researching cultural production, and the diversity it brings from the past to the present. She is our Apparel and Fashion Design fellowship recipient in 2020. This position was grant funded by VCUarts Qatar and Qatar Foundation.
Sara Al Afifi
Research and visual Design Fellow / 2020
Sara Al-Afifi is a Graphic Designer, researcher, and illustrator based in Doha Qatar. She has been researching Arab societies’ collective psychology through the lens of philosophy, orientalism, and revisionist history. Sara was our Research and Visual Design fellow for in 2020. She has been a collaborator in several capacities over the years and we love her dearly. We published Sara’s now sold out “I Have Things to Say but I Am Afraid of the Consequences” 3 color Risograph zine. As a Research Fellow, she collaborated with Nathan on the Fate Lay in Wait screen printed zine, contributed to -162 Trading Power among others.
Reham Mohamed

Reham has been a collaborator on a few projects over the years and last year we invited her to help us debut our work in Saudia Arabia at the Misk Art Book Fair. Reham is an allum of the VCUarts Qatar Graphic Design program and completed her MFA at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. Reham is now Adjunct Faculty in the Graphic Design program here at VCUarts Qatar.
Shaikha Alelaiwy
Undergraduate Research Award / Merchandise Design / 2020
Shaikha Al-Elaiwy is a Visual Artist based in Doha, Qatar. As an artist in her own realm of abnormality, she chooses to express herself avidly. She follows the path of the surreal and the psychedelic, she is a culmination of erratic and exotic ideals which are reflected onto her art pieces. She is currently a graphic design senior, and she was part of the Undergraduate Research Experience Program Award for merchandising design. This position was grant funded by VCUarts Qatar and Qatar Foundation.
