The term extropianism refers to two main ideas, one in mathematics that a higher number of possible futures is preferable to a lower number in that it still contains potential and possibility. This concept is part of the ideas that frame the trans-humanist worldview called extropianism, which may simply be described as the belief that technology will save humanity. This zine was developed and published before AI was available to mainstream audiences. The publication's content has renewed resonance and vibrancy in the current technological landscape. This is also the first bound publication that included the water with water moniker.
This publication reinterprets artworks from students in the Surface Research course at VCUQatar. The project was a collaboration between Nathan, Fatma Al-Remaihi, and Sarah Elawad.
