Diriyah Biennale

Curators of the Diriyah Design Shop saw our work at Misk Art Week and reached out to see if we would be interested in having our work stocked and promoted as part of the second contemporary art biennale in Riyadh. Initially, we weren’t sure how much work they would want to stock, but after some conversations and review of what we had available, they requested one of the largest and most complete collections of our work. Two of the publications we shipped are now only available in their store. Hagar and Nathan were invited to the private opening to check out how it all looked and to sit for an interview about the practice and the products in the shop. The event was well done, and the atmosphere had an unmistakable buzz. Part of the JAX district, the Diriyah Biennale is surrounded by small studios and other creative spaces, making it a great multi-day destination for exploring regional art and design.

We’ll be back for sure.
