Cairo Politian: Doha Prints

This year Studio 7 and Cairopolitan brought their forces together to create something original and unusual; Doha prints, in its first edition, overturns misconceptions and stereotypical expectations of what creativity in the Middle East and North Africa looks like.

The collaboration made the work of 100s of artists and designers travel and meet all together under one roof. The exhibition has created new opportunities for the artists to expand their work in different countries and to be seen and appreciated by a wider audience.

The work of an Egyptian, Qatari, Palestinian, Lebanese, Saoudi, Bahraini, Arminian, Austrian, Tunisian… and more met at Studio 7 while suspended one next to the other, allowing visitors to interact with the playful display, travel through cultures visually and enjoy the color festival that the prints together has created.
